Our charming 9-hole course, par 64, is a perfect place to prepare for the challenges of the big course and offers good practice conditions for beginners.
It can be played as soon as the proficiency certificate ("Platzreife") is passed, giving beginners and less experienced players a first sense of achievement.
Less experienced golfers also like the fact that only one of the holes throws down the challenge of a water hazard.
But experienced golfers also like the course as it gives them the opportunity to perfect their approach game.
The distance from tee to pin varies from 156m to 341m. By comparison, men playing off the white tee on the longest hole on the 18-hole course have 528m between them and the flag!
The elaborate construction of the greens means that the course can be played all year round using the summer greens.
Of particular interest for beginners are the open handicap competitions that take place twice a month for so-called "Platzreifler", golfers who have recently passed their proficiency certificate and have not yet achieved a 36 handicap. Please refer to our competition diary to see when these beginners’ competitions take place.
The choice of three courses at Soufflenheim guarantees you a game even if you want to play only 9 holes, or if there is a competition on the championship course that you are not playing in.
